屁股决定脑袋，仓位决定心态，在位（有仓）与不在位（空仓）对市场的判断会有分歧，不在位的判断当然会相对客观。这也可理解为当局者迷，旁观者清！屁股坐得越深（或曰仓位越重），脑袋受屁股束缚的情况就会越严重，得出的观点也会更“屁”。
如果黄金市场迷雾重重，看不清方向，不要过于执着要求自己成为有红外线探测方向功能的千里眼，不妨扭头看看美元市场一片“青天”的清晰脉络。
屁股决定脑袋的观点还体现在官方发言，想想格林斯潘在位美联储主席时，一般投资者或机构要从口中获得的信息往往只有三种：缄默、含糊、安慰。当格老不再位时，他的讲话变得犀利明了，无所顾忌。所以，投资者应该知道怎样客观理解与看待，脑袋严重受屁股束缚的很多官方发言了！直接引用的很多是屁！
