英国广播公司（BBC）周四晚间报道，在持续的危机爆发期间，豪华汽车制造商本特利（Bentley）正在英国裁员约1000人。
该报告称，大众汽车旗下<VOWG_p.DE>品牌的降价预期将于周五宣布。
报告补充说，汽车制造商可能会为工人提供自愿裁员的机会。
本特利（Bentley）于1919年在英国成立，现已在其北部英格兰克鲁郡的工厂重新开始生产，在那里生产数千种豪华车型。但是，由于病毒爆发而关闭了其在英国的生产，这对该公司造成了伤害。
周四早些时候，另一家豪华汽车制造商阿斯顿·马丁（AML）表示，计划裁员500人，以力求使其成本基础与降低的跑车产量保持一致。
