ASIC宣布吊销Everest Asset Management的澳大利亚金融服务牌照
澳大利亚证券与投资委员会（ASIC）今日宣布，吊销Everest Asset Management Pty Ltd（Everest）的澳大利亚金融服务（AFS）牌照，原因是该公司未能准备并向ASIC提交所需的财务报表和审计意见。
该监管机构还发现Everest未来有可能会违反其作为AFS持牌人的义务。
Everest自2013年7月5日起持有AFS牌照（证号：437924），可向当地批发客户提供包括对管理投资计划提供咨询和交易在内的服务。
根据澳大利亚《公司法》，如持牌人未能履行第s914A条规定的一般义务，则ASIC可暂停或吊销其AFS牌照。该一般义务包括遵守当地金融服务法的义务，以及每年向ASIC提交财务报表的义务。
此外，根据ASIC此前的调查，Everest现任高管与Prospero Markets的前高管于2023年被指控犯有与长江汇兑汇款链相关的洗钱罪。Prospero Markets目前已进入外部托管程序。
