Warga AS yang mengajukan tunjangan asuransi pengangguran meningkat sebesar 229 ribu dalam pekan yang berakhir 1 Juni menurut Departemen Tenaga Kerja AS (DoL) pada hari Kamis. Hasil tersebut melampaui perkiraan awal (220 ribu) dan kenaikan mingguan sebelumnya sebesar 221 ribu (direvisi dari 216 ribu).

Selain itu, Klaim Berkelanjutan meningkat sebesar 2 ribu menjadi 1,792 juta pada pekan yang berakhir pada tanggal 25 Mei.
