Ang Retail Trade ng Japan para sa taon ay natapos noong Mayo, na umabot sa 3% YoY kumpara sa forecast hold sa 2.0%. Sa downside, ang print ng nakaraang panahon ay binago pababa sa 2.0% mula sa unang print na 2.4%.
Tumaas din ang Malaking Retailer Sales noong Mayo, umakyat sa 4% YoY kumpara sa print ng nakaraang buwan na 3%.
Inihayag ng seasonally-adjusted Japanese Retail Trade ang isang front-loaded uptick sa retail activity, kung saan ang malaking retailer ng MoM ay umaabot sa 1.7% noong Mayo kumpara sa 1.2% noong Abril.
