Nhà chiến lược hàng hóa Carsten Fritsch của Commarzbank lưu ý rằng giá kim loại cơ bản đã giảm đáng kể trên diện rộng vào tuần trước và hiện đang giao dịch ở mức thấp nhất trong nhiều tháng.

“Chỉ số của Sàn giao dịch kim loại London (LMEX), theo dõi sáu kim loại màu được giao dịch trên LME theo sản lượng và khối lượng giao dịch trong năm năm qua, đã giảm 5,6% so với tuần trước và trượt xuống dưới mốc 4.000 điểm lần đầu tiên kể từ đầu tháng 4.”
“Đồng ghi nhận mức giảm hàng tuần lớn nhất trong gần hai năm ở mức 5,7% và kết thúc tuần ở mức khoảng 9.300 đô la một tấn, mức thấp nhất trong 3 tháng rưỡi. Giá tiếp tục giảm vào ngày hôm qua. Vào đầu tháng, giá Đồng vẫn gần mức 10.000 đô la một tấn.”
