DXY: MENUNGGU PERTEMUAN FED – DBS
Indeks Dolar (DXY) hampir tidak berubah pada 104,07 sebelum pertemuan FOMC hari ini, catat analis DBS FX Philip Wee.
Antisipasinya hampir membunuh
“Selama sesi semalam, DXY sempat mencapai 104,80, mendekati level penurunannya pada 11 Juli akibat inflasi IHK AS yang lebih rendah.”
“Federal Reserve (Fed) harus membiarkan pintu terbuka sedikit untuk menurunkan suku bunga tanpa mendukung taruhan agresif pasar berjangka (probabilitas 110%) pada pemotongan suku bunga pada bulan September hingga melihat data tingkat pengangguran AS pada tanggal 2 Agustus dan data inflasi CPI pada tanggal 14 Agustus.”
"Misalkan Fed semakin yakin bahwa inflasi akan kembali menurun menuju target 2% atau semakin khawatir tentang meningkatnya pengangguran, kemungkinan besar Fed akan memberikan arahan waktu pada Simposium Jackson Hole yang diselenggarakan oleh Kansas City Fed pada tanggal 24-26 Agustus."
