Inflasi PPI AS menurunkan nilai Indeks Dolar (DXY) sebesar 0,5% menjadi 102,62. Pada saat penulisan, DXY diperdagangkan pada 102,47, catat analis DBS FX Philip Wee.

Inflasi PPI tetap pada 0% MoM di bulan Juli

“Inflasi PPI AS yang lebih rendah dari perkiraan menyebabkan Indeks Dolar (DXY) terdepresiasi sebesar 0,5% menjadi 102,62, mendekati level penutupan 102,69 pada tanggal 5 Agustus. Inflasi PPI meningkat sebesar 0,1% MoM pada bulan Juli dibandingkan konsensus yang menyatakan inflasi tetap tidak berubah pada bulan Juni sebesar 0,2%.”

"Tidak termasuk harga pangan dan energi, inflasi inti PPI tetap stabil di 0% MoM pada bulan Juli, lebih rendah dari konsensus 0,2%, sementara Juni direvisi menjadi 0,3% dari 0,4%. Imbal hasil obligasi pemerintah AS 2 tahun turun pada sesi kedua sebesar 8,8 bps menjadi 3,93%, sementara imbal hasil obligasi pemerintah AS 10 tahun turun lebih rendah sebesar 6,1 bps menjadi 3,84%."
