PENJUALAN ECERAN AS NAIK 1% DI BULAN JULI DIBANDINGKAN DENGAN PERKIRAAN 0,3%

Penjualan Ritel di AS naik 1% menjadi $709,7 miliar pada bulan Juli, Biro Sensus AS melaporkan pada hari Kamis. Angka ini mengikuti penurunan 0,2% (direvisi dari 0%) yang tercatat pada bulan Juni dan lebih baik dari ekspektasi pasar untuk peningkatan sebesar 0,3%.
Pada periode yang sama, Penjualan Ritel non-Otomotif tumbuh 0,4%, melampaui estimasi analis sebesar 0,1%.
"Total penjualan untuk periode Mei 2024 hingga Juli 2024 naik 2,4% dari periode yang sama tahun lalu," demikian bunyi publikasi tersebut. "Penjualan eceran naik 1,1% dari Juni 2024, dan naik 2,6% dari tahun lalu."
