Ang Ministro ng Pananalapi ng Japan na si Shunichi Suzuki ay nagsabi noong Martes na "Ang mga rate ng FX ay tinutukoy ng iba't ibang mga kadahilanan, hindi lamang ng mga patakaran sa pananalapi at mga pagkakaiba sa rate ng interes kundi pati na rin ng mga geopolitical na panganib, sentimento sa merkado at iba pa."
