Pasangan mata uang USDJPY mengalami penurunan ke zona 141,81 karena yen Jepang yang menguat akibat sinyal hawkish dari Bank of Japan (BoJ). Naoki Tamura dari BoJ mengatakan bahwa perubahan kebijakan masih jauh. Di Amerika Serikat, klaim pengangguran naik sedikit menjadi 230.000, namun pasar tenaga kerja stabil meskipun perlambatan perekrutan. Harga produsen AS naik 0,2% pada bulan Agustus, didorong oleh biaya jasa yang lebih tinggi. Support terdekatnya di zona 142.10 dan resistance terdekatnya di zona 142.63.
