Cục Dự trữ Liên bang (Fed) đã hạ lãi suất 50 điểm cơ bản xuống mức 4,75%-5%, đánh dấu sự bắt đầu của chu kỳ cắt giảm lãi suất nhằm ổn định nền kinh tế sau khi đã kiểm soát lạm phát. Đây là lần đầu tiên Fed giảm lãi suất kể từ năm 2020. Các dự báo của Fed cho thấy có thể sẽ có thêm hai lần giảm lãi suất nữa vào năm 2024.
