Ang sentimyento ng mga mamimili sa United States (US) ay lumala noong Setyembre, kung saan ang The Conference Board (CB) Consumer Confidence Index ay bumagsak sa 98.7 noong Setyembre pagkatapos ng pag-print sa 105.6 noong Agosto.
Ang Present Situation Index ay bumagsak ng 10.3 puntos sa 124.3, habang ang Expectations Index ay bumaba ng 4.6 puntos sa 81.7 ngunit nanatili sa itaas ng 80, na nagpapahiwatig ng mga takot sa pag-urong ay patuloy na bumababa.
