learn from my trading mistake

· Views 88

Hello guys

So, I started trading 3 years ago, and I’m gonna be honest—I burned through a lot of money. Mostly traded BTCUSD. Some days I made crazy gains (like 100%), but honestly, that was pure gambling, not trading. Overall, I lost more than I won.

During that time, my trades were a mix of some knowledge and a lot of luck. I didn’t want to give up, though. I decided to really dive into trading—took courses, backtested strategies, and worked on being disciplined. Learned the importance of risk management too. Now, I focus on the bigger picture—the monthly balance—not just how I did today or yesterday. My goal is 10-12% per month.

Lately, I’ve been trading a $200k demo account with TTF for two weeks. Made some mistakes, like risking more than 2% on one trade, but I’m learning from them. I’ve started here a simple trading log to keep track of everything and improve my skills.

Would love to hear your thoughts or advice. Let’s grow together! 😊
