Tổng thống đắc cử Hoa Kỳ Donald Trump cho biết hôm thứ Tư rằng Tổng thống Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum đã đồng ý ngăn chặn tình trạng di cư qua Mexico và vào Hoa Kỳ, trên thực tế là đóng cửa Biên giới phía Nam của chúng ta, theo tờ New York Times.
“Vừa có cuộc trò chuyện tuyệt vời với Tổng thống mới của Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo,” Trump đăng trên nền tảng Truth Social của mình.
Đầu tuần này , Trump tuyên bố ông có kế hoạch áp thuế 25% đối với hàng nhập khẩu từ Mexico nhằm buộc nước này trấn áp tình trạng nhập cư bất hợp pháp và buôn lậu ma túy.
