策略师：美国破产案激增 目前可能正处于衰退最严重阶段
QI Research的CEO兼首席策略师Danielle DiMartino Booth表示，美国目前可能正处于经济衰退的最严重阶段。她指出，最近破产案的激增与2008年全球金融危机相似。特别是，19家负债超过5000万美元的公司破产，且家庭的信用卡、汽车、个人贷款和抵押贷款负担加重，导致个人破产增多。
DiMartino Booth解释，美国的经济衰退可能从2024年4月开始，私企就业数据的负面修正是一个重要的信号。她提到，10月私企减少了2.8万个工作岗位，自2022年1月以来，这类负面修正已成为常态。
她还预测，美联储将继续降息，以应对衰退。由于最近数据的修正，美联储的模型可能需要调整，这可能推动进一步降息。
DiMartino Booth建议，在当前的经济环境下，采取防御性投资策略，例如投资于能持续支付股息的公司、短期国库券以及黄金，认为这些都是合理的选择以应对经济的不确定性。
