捷豹路虎与IOTA合作推出加密货币奖励计划
英国汽车制造商捷豹路虎在4月29日的一份新闻稿中证实，该公司将使用区块链网络IOTA向报告数据的司机奖励加密货币。
为了收集更好的路况和车辆性能信息，捷豹将把IOTA代币发放至司机的智能钱包中。
捷豹表示，司机将可以使用这些代币兑换各种商品，包括过路费，甚至咖啡。
公司的软件架构师Russell Vickers表示：“未来自主汽车能自动驾驶充电站,充电和支付,而其所有者可以选择参与分享经济收入奖励从共享有用的数据,如警告其他汽车的交通堵塞”。
与IOTA的合作是捷豹“零排放”计划的一部分，该计划旨在解决汽车行业的事故、拥堵和排放问题。
截至发稿时间，IOTA价格上涨了近20%。
IOTA的合作关系负责人Holger Kother补充说:“我们的分布式账本技术非常适合实现机器对机器的智能充电、停车和收费支付，此外还为司机创造了赚取自己数字货币的机会。”
