德央行行长：进一步降息将加剧宽松货币政策副作用
欧洲央行理事会成员、德国央行行长魏德曼22日在法兰克福表示，经历了长期的低利率，“将更低的利率维持更长时间”将加剧超宽松货币政策的风险和副作用。
魏德曼在当天举行的第29届法兰克福欧洲银行业大会上说，负利率持续的时间越长，给通过传统存贷业务获利的银行造成压力的可能性越大。“这正是我们在欧元区看到的情况”。
魏德曼指出，即使在超宽松货币政策环境下，负利率给银行盈利造成的压力最终会导致惜贷，进而损害货币政策传导。
他还说，长期低利率可能诱导投资者寻求高收益率，同时承担不必要的风险。“这可能播下金融失衡的种子，最终可能削弱央行维持价格稳定的能力。”
魏德曼认为，近一段时间金融市场对欧洲央行进一步降息的预期有所减弱。欧元区居民工资上涨的压力正在累积，但在低利率环境下，工资上涨传导至通胀可能需要更长时间。
魏德曼被视作欧洲央行理事会中的“鹰派”人物，反复对超宽松货币政策的副作用提出警告。
