AFCA发布最新报告：19/20财年共计收到逾8万起金融投诉
在过去的12个月中，与大型基金、银行、保险公司和金融公司有纠纷的澳大利亚居民提出了8万多起投诉。澳大利亚金融投诉局（AFCA）在19/20财年为消费者提供了2.586亿澳元的消费者赔偿和退款。
过去12个月中，澳大利亚消费者提出了80,546起投诉
AFCA公布了2019年7月1日至2020年6月30日的运营数据。
在2019/20财年，澳大利亚消费者对金融服务公司提出了共计80,546起投诉。大多数投诉涉及信贷、保险索赔和退休金。其中：信贷产品投诉占43％；非人寿保险投诉占24%。而在第18/19财政年度，投诉共计23,681起。
AFCA首席执行官兼首席监察官戴维·洛克（David Locke）表示：“十分之一的投诉还与财务困难有关，即消费者由于无法预见的情况，或过度承诺而无法偿还贷款。”
AFCA收到近5000起与新冠肺炎疫情有关的财务投诉
在2019/20财年，AFCA为消费者提供了2.586亿澳元(1.792亿美元)的消费者赔偿和退款。
去年，AFCA为消费者提供了1.85亿美元的赔偿。AFCA解决了78%的投诉案件，且其中大多数在60天内得到解决。
此外，就这些投诉案件而言，约占73%的投诉得到解决或对原告有利。
更重要的是：自3月份新冠肺炎疫情流行以来，在针对普通保险行业的指控中，有82%以上的投诉与新冠肺炎疫情相关。具体而言，AFCA已收到4773起涉及新冠肺炎疫情的投诉。其中大多数投诉与一般保险有关(1813起)；其中1500多起投诉与旅行保险有关。
