European Economics Preview: Eurozone Sentix Investor Confidence Data Due
Investor confidence data from euro area is due on Monday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.
At 1.00 am ET, Statistics Finland publishes industrial production figures for June. Production had declined 3.8 percent annually in May.
At 1.45 am ET, the Swiss unemployment data is due from the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs. Economists forecast the rate to rise to a seasonally adjusted 3.6 percent in July from 3.3 percent in June.
At 2.00 am ET, Statistics Norway releases consumer and producer price data for July. Consumer price inflation is expected to remain unchanged at 1.4 percent.
At 3.00 am ET, the Turkish Statistical Institute releases unemployment data for May. In the meantime, the Czech jobless data is due. The Czech unemployment rate is seen at 3.7 percent in July, unchanged from June.
At 4.30 am ET, Eurozone Sentix investor sentiment data is due. Economists forecast the index to rise to -15.1 in August from -18.2 in July.
