Reuters survey: RBNZ expected to increase OCR 25bps to 0.50%

The latest poll of 32 economists by Reuters shows that the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) is expected to raise interest rates when it meets on Wednesday, kicking off the first tightening cycle in Asia-Thailand. Binh Duong since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic
“It is expected that the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) will raise the official cash rate (OCR) by 25 bps from a record low to 0.50% at its policy meeting on Wednesday.”
"At least one economist expects a 50 bps increase this week."
“Most agree that the RBNZ will see more tightening coming soon and the OCR will hit 1% at year-end and 1.5% at the end of next year.”
