KONTAN.CO.ID - LONDON. Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) dan sekutunya atau OPEC+ memulai pertemuan dua hari pada Hari Rabu (1/12). Fluktuasi tinggi harga minyak mentah dan kekhawatiran tentang permintaan energi yang lebih lemah karena Varian Omicron, menjadi pertimbangan kelompok itu untuk melepaskan lebih banyak minyak ke pasar atau menahan pasokan.
Harga minyak jatuh mendekati US$ 70 per barel pada Hari Selasa (30/11). Padahal pada Oktober, minyak sempat berada pada level tertinggi tiga tahun ketika berada di atas US$ 86 per barel.
