Harga Minyak Mentah Naik, Situasi Covid-19 di China Jadi Sorotan
JAKARTA, iNews.id - Harga minyak mentah atau crude oil mengalami kenaikan pada sesi perdagangan pagi ini. Peningkatan ini salah satunya disebabkan situasi Covid-19 di China.
Data bursa Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) Selasa (26/4/2022) hingga pukul 10:23 WIB, harga minyak Brent Juni 2022 naik 1,27 persen di 103,62 dolar AS per barel. Sedangkan Brent Juli 2022 tumbuh 1,25 persen di 103,44 dolar AS per barel.
West Texas Intermediate (WTI) Juni 2022 di New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) menguat 1,02 persen di 99,55 dolar AS per barel, sementara WTI Juli 2022 menanjak 1,09 persen di 98,73 dolar AS per barel.
Analis OANDA, Edward Moya mengatakan, kenaikan harga dua acuan minyak bumi itu datang dari kekhawatiran pasar terhadap situasi Covid-19 di China.
Setelah Shanghai mengalami lockdown, saat ini ketakutan merebak di Beijing yang akan melaksanakan tes virus corona serentak. Hal itu tampak dari kepanikan warga memborong sejumlah kebutuhan bahan pokok.
"Lockdown di China memukul permintaan minyak lebih dari satu juta barel per hari. Tes massal di 12 distrik selama lima hari ke depan akan menentukan nasib harga minyak mentah berikutnya," ujar Edward, dilansir Reuters, Selasa (26/4/2022).
