Dikira Besi Tua, Potongan Logam Meledak dan Tewaskan 10 Orang
JUBA, iNews.id - Persenjataan militer yang awalnya dikira besi tua tiba-tiba meledak di Sudan Selatan. Akibatnya, 10 orang tewas termasuk tiga anak-anak.
Komisaris wilayah Sungai Jur, James Bak, pada Jumat (17/3/2023) mengonfirmasi peristiwa itu terjadi di Western Bahr el Ghazal pada Kamis (16/3/2023). Selain itu, dua anak lain dilaporkan luka.
"Itu menewaskan tujuh wanita dan tiga anak," kata Bak kepada The Associated Press.
Dia mengatakan orang-orang di daerah Jebel-Mille awalnya mengumpulkan mangga. Tiba-tiba mereka menemukan persenjataan yang belum meledak.
