Saat Hotman Paris Bersyukur Teddy Minahasa Tak Divonis Hukuman Mati
Penasihat hukum eks Kapolda Sumatera Barat sekaligus terdakwa kasus peredaran narkotika jenis sabu Teddy Minahasa, Hotman Paris, mengaku bersyukur kliennya tak divonis hukuman mati.
Hotman justru mengatakan, perjuangan kliennya masih panjang dalam kasus ini.
Di antaranya, masih ada upaya hukum banding, kasasi, hingga peninjauan kembali (PK).
Hal tersebut disampaikan Hotman saat ditemui di PN Jakbar usai sidang vonis Teddy Minahasa, Selasa (9/5/2023).
Diketahui, Teddy Minahasa divonis dengan pidana penjara seumur hidup dalam kasus ini.
Pasalnya, Majelis Hakim PN Jakbar menilai, Teddy telah terbukti melakukan tindak pidana yaitu menawarkan narkoba untuk dijual, menjual, serta menjadi perantara dalam jual beli narkoba.
