Harga Minyak Dunia Turun Dipicu Menguatnya Dolar AS

Pasardana.id - Harga minyak dunia turun pada Jumat (21/6/2024) dipicu menguatnya nilai tukar dolar Amerika Serikat.

Seperti dilansir Reuters, harga minyak West Texas Intermediate (WTI) untuk pengiriman Agustus 2024 turun 56 sen, atau sekitar 0,7 persen, menjadi US$80,73 per barel di New York Mercantile Exchange.

Harga minyak mentah Brent untuk pengiriman Agustus 2024 merosot 47 sen, atau sekitar 0,6 persen, menjadi US$85,24 per barel di London ICE Futures Exchange.

Dalam sepekan terakhir, harga minyak WTI dan Brent naik sekitar 3 persen.

Nilai tukar dolar AS menguat dengan indeks dolar AS naik 0,23 persen menjadi 105,83.

Penguatan nilai tukar dolar AS membuat komoditas yang diperdagangkan dalam mata uang tersebut menjadi lebih mahal bagi pemilik dana dalam mata uang lain.
