Chile - Codelco El Teniente merupakan tambang tembaga bawah tanah terbesar di dunia. Tambang ini berada di Andes, Chile Tengah.

Codelco El Teniente merupakan tambang tembaga bawah tanah terbesar di dunia.
Tidak hanya itu konon merupakan salah satu tambang terbesar dari sisi cadangan. Lokasinya di Andes, Chile Tengah dengan ketinggian 2.300 meter di atas permukaan laut.
Tambang ini dimiliki dan dikelola oleh perusahaan tambang milik negara Chile, Codelco.
Pada tahun 2025 pihak Codelco berencana akan meningkatkan produksi tembaga hingga lebih dari 500 ribu ton.
Saat ini produksi tembaga yang dihasilkan dari Codelco El Teniente adalah 443 ribu ton.
