Pasardana.id - Indeks Nikkei 225 di Bursa Efek Tokyo, Jepang, anjlok 975,49 poin, atau sekitar 2,49 persen, pada Kamis (1/8/2024), menjadi 38.126,33. Indeks Topix terjun 3,24 persen menjadi 2.703,69.

Seperti dilansir AFP, indeks Nikkei anjlok dipicu penguatan nilai tukar yen terhadap dolar Amerika Serikat ke level tertinggi dalam empat bulan terakhir usai Bank of Japan meningkatkan suku bunga.

Nilai tukar dolar AS terhadap yen berada di kisaran 150,37 yen per dolar AS.

Saham perusahaan manufaktur alat musik Yamaha memimpin pelemahan hari ini dengan terjun bebas 14,21 persen. Saham perusahaan teknologi Konica Minolta dan perusahaan perdagangan Toyota Tsusho masing-masing tergelincir 10,39 persen dan 10,37 persen.

Saham perusahaan pengelola department store Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings dan Takashimaya masing-masing terjun 9,83 persen dan 8,57 persen. Saham perusahaan properti Sumitomo Realty & Development dan perusahaan ritel JFront Retailing masing-masing anjlok 9,53 persen dan 8,81 persen.
