Rupiah Mulai Menguat, Sri Mulyani Tetap Waspadai Gejolak Pasar
IDXChannel - Menteri Keuangan Sri Mulyani Indrawati tetap mewaspadai gejolak pasar keuangan meski nilai tukar rupiah bertahan di bawah Rp16.000 per USD.
“Tapi kalau dilihat rupiah sudah di bawah Rp16 ribu lagi. Meskipun secara year to date depresiasinya 3,48 persen,” kata Sri Mulyani dalam Konferensi Pers APBN KiTa Edisi Agustus 2024, Selasa (13/8/2024).
Dia menyebut, ketidakpastian pasar keuangan itu seperti rencana pemangkasan suku bunga acuan AS yang lebih cepat dari prediksi.
Hal ini akan berakibat pada imbal hasil US treasury yang memengaruhi tingkat yield obligasi negara berkembang termasuk Indonesia.
"US Treasury masih akan cenderung menekan karena defisit yang besar karena itu mereka akan keluarkan US Treasury yang banyak yang sebabkan yield jatuh," tutur Sri Mulyani.
