Mars Akuisisi Kellanova dengan Dana US$36 Miliar

Pasardana.id - Perusahaan makanan Mars pada Rabu (14/8/2024) mengakuisisi Kellanova Company dengan dana mencapai US$36 miliar atau sekitar Rp562,8 triliun.

Kellanova yang dahulu dikenal dengan nama Kellog Company merupakan produsen Pringles dan Pop-Tart. Sedankgan Mars dikenal dengan produk-produk seperti M&M’s dan Skittles.

Seperti dilansir BBC News, Kellanova nantinya akan menjadi bagian dari Mars Snacking, yang dipimpin Andrew Clarke dan berkantor pusat di Chicago. Proses akuisisi diperkirakan tuntas pada semester pertama 2025.

Mars pada 2008 lalu mengakuisisi perusahaan perman Wrigley. Seperti pada akuisisi Wrigley, proses akuisisi Kellanova diperkirakan tidak akan mengalami hambatan dari pihak regulator.
