Pasardana.id - Indeks Nikkei 225 di Bursa Efek Tokyo, Jepang, turun 36,9 poin, atau sekitar 0,1 persen, pada Rabu (21/8/2024), menjadi 38.026,02. Indeks Topix melemah 0,21 persen menjadi 2.664,86.

Seperti dilansir AFP, indeks Nikkei turun mengikuti pergerakan saham di Wall Street yang dipicu kehati-hatian para investor jelang berlangsungnya pertemuan di Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Saham perusahaan kosmetik Shiseido memimpin pelemahan hari ini dengan terjun 5,99 persen. Saham perusahaan utilitas Tokyo Electric Power dan perusahaan kimia Sumitomo Chemical masing-masing anjlok 3,55 persen dan 2,97 persen.

Saham perusahaan semikonduktor Lasertec dan Disco masing-masing merosot 2,92 persen dan 2,9 persen. Saham perusahaan asuransi Dai-ichi Life Holdings dan perusahaan kecap Kikkoman masing-masing turun 2,79 persen dan 2,77 persen.

Nilai tukar dolar Amerika Serikat melemah 0,21 persen terhadap yen menjadi 144,945 yen per dolar AS.
