Pasardana.id - Harga minyak dunia naik pada Senin (2/9/2024) dipicu terhentinya ekspor minyak mentah Libya.

Seperti dilansir Reuters, harga minyak West Texas Intermediate (WTI) untuk pengiriman Oktober 2024 naik 49 sen, atau sekitar 0,7 persen, menjadi US$74,04 per barel di New York Mercantile Exchange.

Harga minyak mentah Brent untuk pengiriman November 2024 meningkat 59 sen, atau sekitar 0,8 persen, menjadi US$77,52 per barel di London ICE Futures Exchange.

Volume perdagangan tipis seiring berlangsungnya libur Hari Buruh di Amerika Serikat.

Ekspor minyak di berbagai pelabuhan utama di Libya terhenti pada Senin dan produksi dibatasi seiring meningkatnya ketegangan antara faksi politik yang berkuasa terhadap bank sentral dan pendapatan minyak.

National Oil Corporation yang merupakan perusahaan minyak nasional Libya menyatakan terjadinya force majeure di ladang minyak El Feel mulai 2 September.
