Pasar Tenaga Kerja AS Melambat, Begini Efeknya ke Yield Obligasi
IDXChannel - Rilis data Non Farm Payrolls (NFP) Amerika Serikat (AS) mencatatkan penambahan 142 ribu pekerjaan di Agustus 2024 dibanding Juli lalu yang sebanyak 89 ribu pekerjaan.
Namun realisasinya masih lebih rendah dari konsensus yang diperkirakan bertambah 160 ribu pekerjaan.
Harga Emas Semringah Lagi usai Rilis Data Tenaga Kerja AS"Rilis data yang kurang positif ini berdampak terhadap penurunan yield treasury note 10 tahun di AS turun di bawah 3,7 persen, terendah dalam 15 bulan terakhir," kata Head of Research Panin Sekuritas, Nico Laurens dalam risetnya, Senin (9/9).
"Karena bukti melemahnya pasar tenaga kerja memperkuat spekulasi penurunan suku bunga yang agresif oleh The Fed tahun ini," sambungnya.
Data Tenaga Kerja AS Turun, Wall Street Ditutup MerahHal tersebut, kata Nico, juga didukung pernyataan anggota FOMC, Christopher Waller yang mengingatkan The Fed untuk merespons segera dengan memangkas suku bunga acuan.
