Wall Street Happy, S&P dan Dow Jones Tembus Rekor Tertinggi
IDXChannel - Wall Street ditutup menguat signifikan pada perdagangan Kamis (19/9) waktu setempat dengan Indeks S&P dan Dow Jones mencetak rekor tertinggi karena euforia The Fed memangkas suku bunga 50 basis poin (bps).
S&P 500 (.SPX) melonjak 1,70 persen ke 5.713,64 atau rekor penutupan tertinggi sepanjang masa. Nasdaq (.IXIC) melesat 2,51 persen menjadi 18.013,98 dan Dow Jones Industrial Average (DOW.N) terdongkrak 1,26 persen menjadi 42.025,19.
Wall Street Dibuka Variatif, The Fed Diproyeksi Pangkas Suku Bunga 50 BPSS&P 500 mencatat rekor ke-39 pada 2024 dan memperpanjang lonjakan tahun ini menjadi sekira 20 persen. Saham-saham teknologi memimpin kenaikan, sementara saham industri defensif berkinerja buruk.
Dow Jones yang dihuni saham-saham unggulan juga mencatat rekor penutupan tertinggi, mengakhiri sesi di atas 42.000 untuk pertama kalinya.
