Rupiah Sepekan Menguat Didorong Pemangkasan Suku Bunga
IDXChannel - Nilai tukar (kurs) rupiah pada sepekan perdagangan 16-20 September 2024 bergerak dalam tren yang cenderung menguat terhadap mata uang dolar Amerika Serikat (AS) atau USD.
Melansir Google Finance, Sabtu (21/9/2024), rupiah menguat 1,51 persen ke level Rp15.160 per USD dalam sepekan periode 18-21 September 2024.
IHSG Ditutup Melemah di Akhir Pekan, Rupiah Justru Menguat Pengamat pasar uang Ibrahim Assuaibi mengatakan, penguatan rupiah didorong pelonggaran kebijakan moneter Bank Indonesia yang diperkirakan mendorong penurunan cost of fund, yang selanjutnya akan mendorong penurunan suku bunga kredit.
"Tujuannya agar permintaan kredit bisa terdongkrak sehingga perekonomian kembali pulih dan membaik di masa transisi pemerintahan," kata Ibrahim dalam risetnya, Jumat (20/9/2024).
