Wall Street Dibuka Cerah, Pasar Sambut Data Inflasi PCE AS
IDXChannel - Indeks utama Wall Street dibuka menguat pada akhir pekan, Jumat (27/9/2024). Pelaku pasar merespons positif indeks pengeluaran konsumsi pribadi atau Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) Index sebagai angka inflasi pilihan Federal Reserve.
Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI) naik 0,18 persen menjadi 42.251,85. S&P 500 (.SPX) tumbuh 0,17 persen ke 5.754,99, sementara Nasdaq Composite (.IXIC) menanjak 0,23 persen menjadi 18.232,53 pada bel pembukaan.
Wall Street Dibuka Hijau, Pasar Nantikan Pidato Bos The FedAngka PCE Index menunjukkan pertumbuhan lebih lambat pada periode Agustus, yaitu sebesar 2,2 persen year on year (YoY) atau turun dari bulan sebelumnya 2,5 persen (YoY). Sementara indeks PCE secara bulanan juga lebih rendah mencapai 0,1 persen.
Di sisi lain, PCE Index inti yang tidak termasuk komponen pangan dan energi naik 0,1 persen Month of Month (MoM), lebih rendah dari ekspektasi pasar sebesar 0,2 persen (MoM).
