Wall Street Ditutup Menguat, Dow Jones Kembali Ukir Rekor Tertinggi
IDXChannel - Indeks utama Wall Street berakhir lebih tinggi pada penutupan perdagangan Rabu (16/10/2024) waktu setempat. Di mana Dow Jones kembali mencetak rekor tertinggi, meski saham-saham emiten teknologi berkapitalisasi besar rontok.
Penguatan Wall Street justru didorong kenaikan saham-saham dengan kapitalisasi pasar kecil dan saham keuangan karena realisasi laba yang kuat.
IHSG Diproyeksi Bergerak Terbatas saat Wall Street dan Harga Minyak AnjlokDow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI) melesat 0,79 persen menjadi 43.077,70. Pun dengan S&P 500 (.SPX) naik 0,47 persen ke 5.842,47 dan Nasdaq Composite (.IXIC) menguat 0,28 persen di 18.367,08.
Sebagian saham teknologi besar jatuh, meski Nvidia Corp. melonjak 3,1 persen. Sementara saham-saham emiten kapitalisasi kecil, Indeks Russell 2000 naik 1,6 persen.
