BoE tampaknya akan mempertahankan suku bunga stabil di 4,75%. Pasangan mata uang GBP/USD terakhir terlihat di 1,2651, catat analis valas OCBC, Frances Cheung dan Christopher Wong.

"Pertemuan MPC terakhir (November) menunjukkan bahwa BoE menekankan akan memastikan inflasi tetap dekat target. Ini memperkuat pandangan pendekatan bertahap dalam menghilangkan pengetatan. GBP turun di tengah penguatan USD pasca FOMC sementara IHK Inggris sedikit lebih lemah dari yang diprakirakan."
"Momentum bullish ringan pada grafik harian memudar namun penurunan RSI melambat. Kemungkinan konsolidasi. Support di 1,2570 (76,4% fibo), level-level 1,2490. Resistance di 1,2670 (MA 21-hari), 1,2730 (61,8% fibo retracement dari terendah ke tertinggi 2024), level-level 1,2830 (MA 50, 200-hari)."
