Model Inflasi Faktor Sektoral RBNZ Mencapai 3,1% YoY di Kuartal 4 2024
Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) merilis ukuran Inflasi Model Faktor Sektoral untuk kuartal keempat tahun 2024, setelah publikasi Indeks Harga Konsumen (IHK) resmi oleh Statistik Selandia Baru pada hari Rabu pagi.
Ukuran inflasi melanjutkan tren menurunnya menjadi 3,1% year-over-year (YoY) pada Kuartal 4 2024 versus. 3,4% pada Kuartal 3.
Ukuran inflasi diawasi dengan ketat oleh RBNZ, yang memiliki tujuan kebijakan moneter untuk mencapai inflasi 1% hingga 3%.

Reserve Bank of New Zealand memiliki serangkaian model yang menghasilkan estimasi inflasi inti. Model faktor sektoral memprakirakan ukuran inflasi inti berdasarkan pergerakan bersama - sejauh mana seri harga individu bergerak bersama. Ini mengambil pendekatan sektoral, memprakirakan inflasi inti berdasarkan dua set harga: harga barang yang dapat diperdagangkan, yaitu barang yang diimpor atau terpapar persaingan internasional, dan harga barang yang tidak dapat diperdagangkan, yaitu barang yang diproduksi secara domestik dan tidak menghadapi persaingan dari impor.
