Wall Street Tumbang Usai Trump Melunak soal Tarif Impor ke Meksiko
IDXChannel - Wall Street ditutup melemah pada perdagangan Senin (3/1/2025) waktu setempat usai keputusan Presiden Amerika Serikat (AS), Donald Trump untuk menghentikan tarif impor pada Meksiko.
Keputusan ini sedikit meredakan kekhawatiran tentang dampak ekonomi dari perang dagang global.
Wall Street Hadapi Sederet Tantangan di Pekan Pertama Februari 2025Dow Jones Industrial Average turun 0,27 persen ke 44.422, S&P 500 terpangkas 0,76 persen ke 5.994, dan Nasdaq Composite anjlok 1,31 persen ke 19.391.
Setelah panggilan dengan Meksiko, Trump mengatakan akan menghentikan tarif impor pada Meksiko selama sebulan setelah mitranya dari Meksiko Claudia Sheinbuam setuju untuk memasok 10 ribu tentara untuk membantu mengamankan perbatasan AS-Meksiko terhadap imigrasi ilegal.
