Pasardana.id - Harga minyak dunia naik pada Jumat (7/2/2025) dipicu sanksi baru Amerika Serikat terhadap Iran.

Seperti dilansir Reuters, harga minyak West Texas Intermediate (WTI) untuk pengiriman Maret 2025 naik 39 sen, atau sekitar 0,55 persen, menjadi US$71 per barel di New York Mercantile Exchange.

Harga minyak mentah Brent untuk pengiriman April 2025 meningkat 37 sen, atau sekitar 0,5 persen, menjadi US$74,66 per barel di London ICE Futures Exchange.

Kementerian Keuangan AS telah mengumumkan sanksi baru terhadap beberapa individu dan kapal tanker yang membantu mengirimkan jutaan barel minyak Iran per tahun ke Tiongkok.

Langkah ini dilakukan dalam upaya meningkatkan tekanan terhadap Iran dari sisi ekonomi.

Iran merupakan negara produsen minyak OPEC terbesar keempat.
