中美贸易战并不简单是美国对中国发起的贸易争端，而是美国与世界各国之间的，只不过中国偏偏是第一对手。原因有二：首先中国是全世界最大的贸易国，也是最大的顺差国，美国想要压缩逆差开启再工业化，与中国的对立自然无可避免。其次中国是世界工厂，但并非自产自销，很多零部件以及能源来自世界各国供应，组装成产品很多又出口到美国，中美贸易自然就牵扯到一些发达国家，甚至是多数的发展中国家。由于经济体制不一样，彼此之间竞争的是经济模式。中国是社会主义国家，美国是民主国家。企业在财务支撑上就是不同的量级。
