特朗普再度发难，称美联储“错误地提高了利率”；
① 美国总统特朗普加大了对美联储的施压，称如果不是美联储“错误地提高利率”，美国GDP将会更高，市场会“处于更好的地位”；
② 特朗普周五下午通过推特发表的这番评论是对美联储主席鲍威尔的又一次抨击。自去年美联储四次加息以来，特朗普数度公开指责鲍威尔；
③ “如果美联储没有错误地提高利率（特别是在通货膨胀率非常低的情况下），如果美联储没有选这么荒唐的时候来收紧政策，那么GDP和美股的表现还会更好，全球市场将会有更佳表现！“特朗普在推文中说?；
④ 白宫首席经济顾问库德洛呼吁美联储“立即”降息50个基点，此举令特朗普政府与美联储的斗争进一步升级，也是在挑战美联储的独立性；
⑤ 据Axios报道，库德洛在一次采访中表示，其“希望”看到美联储能这样做。后来库德洛又在CNBC上表示，降息将保护美国经济免受海外市场疲软的影响，但他同时提到这种行动不需要立即做出，而且潜在的“经济”也并未放缓
