多周期共振简单地说就是操作的时候不能只关注一个投资的周期，要将多个周期结合起来研究，当多个周期同时出现某个指标的某一特征，或者同时出现图形上的向上、向下突破的时候，此时此刻的价位就是入场操作的最好时机。在这样的价位进行买或者卖的操作，成功率会成倍地增加，有的投资者还将这样的多周期共振点叫作起爆点。比如，在多周期共振时，用日线周期来判断大方向，用1小时周期来判断中方向，用15分钟周期判断小方向，用5分钟周期找入场时机，这样在多个周期共同作用下的入场时机就是价格起飞和下降的爆炸点。多周期共振的起爆点相比较单周期的操作介入点在数量上会少很多，因为不同的周期之间存在相互过滤的作用。单周期是只要满足条件就可以交易，多周期共振就过滤掉了其他周期不合适的价位。我们可以将多周期共振策略理解成是“大处着眼、小处着手”的交易策略。在投资行业中有一个理念叫作顺势而为，绝大多数的投资者都听过并认可这个理论，采用多周期共振策略的投资者更是坚信自己这样操作就是顺势而为。未来行情不可预测，我们的投资操作只有顺应行情走势才能盈利。
