这一集巴菲特做了解答：为何把钱都捐了。不只是遗产税这个视角，其实以鳄鱼十三在美国生活的经验，个人捐赠是很普遍的事（统计下来40%美国人都会多少有每年捐款），还有一个重要原因：
成就感。
美国是一个个人英雄主义的地方，感觉到自己有能力去改变另一个人的生活，这是一件非常满足的事情。钢铁大王卡内基曾说过：“一个人到死的时候还是家财万贯，这是一种耻辱。”
视频里还有会巴菲特的三个子女出镜，分别是长女苏珊，长子霍德华，小儿子彼得。在巴菲特的培养下，他们都在各自的领域有所建树。其长女苏珊成为一名基金管理人，长子霍华德致力于解决全球饥荒问题，幼子彼得成为了获得无数荣誉的杰出音乐人。每个孩子都如愿以偿活成了自己喜欢的样子。
