到底何谓“自卑情结”?阿德勒说,如果一个人在面对一个棘手的问题时,感觉自己无能为力,由此产生的情绪就叫作自卑情结。而在现实生活中,它的表现形式是多种多样的,比较明显的例子是:孩子忽然变得厌学、暴躁、不合作,成人忽然觉得疲惫、沮丧、不安。但是,有严重“自卑情结”的人,不一定都表现得安静、顺从、内敛,与世无争。有时,一个人举止傲慢,表现强势,夸夸其谈,其实也是在用外在的优越感来掩饰内心的自卑。实际上,每个人内心深处都或多或少的隐藏着一些自卑情结,而现代社会激烈的竞争、高压的环境更容易使人产生心理落差,激发隐藏于心中的自卑。 也许,有人认为,我们自卑是很正常的,因为人类本就脆弱而渺小,你看,“为了获得安全感,他们建立了各种团体;……为了防风避雨,他们建造房屋;为了抵御严寒而穿上衣服”。人生苦短,困难重重,未来总是无法预知,我们总会遇到无数我们无法克服的难题与障碍,但这一切,并不能成为你自卑下去的理由。没有人能够长久忍受自卑情结的侵扰,它会让你变得彷徨、颓废、退却,更有甚者,还会因无法承担内心的压力而走上极端。只有克服自卑,让自己的内心强大起来,才会成为真正的强者!
