週二路透調查英國第一季和第二季通貨膨脹率為 5.9% 和 7.7% 較前次調查高，但下修今年和明年經濟增長至 3.9% 和 1.7%，突現通貨膨脹飆漲及區域情勢不穩定影響經濟活動，促使英鎊兌美元徘徊於低點 1.2997。隨著英國公布 1 月就業人數減少 1.2 萬個，但國際勞工組織 (ILO) 標準失業率降至兩年低點 3.9% 及三個月平均薪資較去年同期增長 4.8% 優於預期，勞動力市場表現強勁強化英國央行 (BOE) 週四會議上升息至 0.75% 的臆測，激勵英鎊兌美元回升至 1.3088 高點。
預估今日英鎊兌美元阻力於 1.3070-90，支撐於 1.2970-90。
