失败案例1：高杠杆交易
外汇新手想要提升获利的动机较强，会倾向于利用较高的杠杆进行交易。所谓的金融杠杆，就是可以让交易的金额高出投资人所准备的保证金数倍的机制。
虽然杠杆是一种资金效率良好的机制，但是如果使用的方法错误，造成巨大损失的风险就会比较高。
尤其是对于还不习惯交易的新手来说，使用较高的杠杆进行交易，恐怕会增加精神上的负担，并且会难以冷静地作出判断。而这样的行为可以说很容易导致巨大的损失，而且应该也有许多新手会就这样离开外汇市场。
什么是外汇交易的杠杆？
杠杆
所谓的外汇交易杠杆，是指能进行存入保证金几倍大规模的交易机制。一般也称作「杠杆原理」。
比方说，存入1万保证金只能进行1万额度的交易。但是若以200倍杠杆交易时，1万保证金则可进行200万额度的交易。
像这样以较小额的保证金进行保证金好几倍额度的交易，这种机制称作杠杆。不过杠杆也存在风险，须多加注意。有关杠杆的风险留待后面再详细解说。
