今晚20:30，美国将公布7月份的CPI通胀数据。观察人士警告称，通胀数据可能会导致市场朝任一方向大幅波动，弱于预期的数据会加剧人们对经济的担忧，而强劲的数据可能会削弱对美联储的降息押注。美联储继续在维护经济增长和试图控制物价之间徘徊，但是越来越多人认为，最近多项经济数据表明降息已经来得太晚。市场预期：回落趋势将持续。华尔街的预期共识显示，继上月录得-0.1%后，7月CPI环比预计将回升至0.2%，同比将保持在3%；排除了波动较大的能源和食品价格之后，核心CPI环比料将从6月份的0.1%上升至0.2%，但同比料将从上个月的3.3%降至3.2%。富国银行经济学家表示：“7月份消费者物价指数报告可能会进一步证明通胀正在趋于平静，但仍尚未回到美联储的目标。”
