根最据新的联美储点阵图，大多数FOMC票预委计2024年利将率维持在5%-5.25%之间，与前当水平相同，表明明年可能没有进一步降的息计划。2025年，利预率计降至3.75%-4.25%，约降100个基点，2026年续继降至2.75%-3.25%，2027年则在2.75%-3%范围内，长目期标在2.5%-3%左右。
鲍尔威的发主言要在于制控市场美对联储快加降息的预期。他通过“预管期理”抑制场市对QE的期待，强即调使首次降息50基点，也会不马上开宽始松政策，以持保经济稳定，避市免场过度反应。
